ABOUT US

I hold a Small Family Childcare license and bring over nine years of experience in a Montessori preschool setting, along with three years of dedicated work with middle school-aged children. I have a genuine passion for supporting children’s growth and development, and I am excited to share my love for Montessori education with you and your child through my homeschool program. As a bilingual educator, I also speak Spanish, which allows me to create inclusive learning experiences for children from diverse backgrounds. Together, we can foster a nurturing and engaging homeschool environment that inspires a lifelong love for learning.

Why Montessori

Cultivating a Love for Learning

The Montessori approach nurtures independence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning. Unlike traditional education, Montessori classrooms are thoughtfully prepared environments where children learn through hands-on exploration and self-directed activity.

A Hands-On, Child-Led Approach

Children are encouraged to follow their natural interests and learn at their own pace, which fosters confidence, intrinsic motivation, and a deep, personal understanding of the world. Rather than being told what to learn, they are guided to discover it for themselves.

Empowering the Whole Child

In these carefully designed environments, children develop critical life skills such as problem-solving, collaboration, and self-discipline. With individualized support, they build a strong academic foundation while growing socially and emotionally.

Montessori education empowers children to take ownership of their learning, helping them become capable, compassionate, and lifelong learners.

We have known Yesenia Jimenez for many years and as a former employee, we can attest to her abilities as a teacher and a caregiver. She works exceptionally well with children of all ages and engages with parents regarding the well-being of their children. We know her to be diligent, organized, caring and fair. She makes learning fun and gives each student the individual attention they need. We would highly recommend Yesenia Jimenez and the House of Montessori to anyone wanting a great educational experience for their children.
